Hello Beautiful!
We are a top-rated, award-winning small business, deeply rooted in the art of creating unique, locally sourced, clean, and sustainably crafted skincare, handmade gifts, and thoughtfully designed décor that brings both beauty and purpose into everyday life.
But our story extends beyond the products we make. We are driven by a profound passion for making a difference—within our community and beyond. As artisans, we don’t just create; we connect.
Through hands-on workshops offered to ALL in our community, we nurture creativity in our community and empower fellow small business owners to grow, thrive, and build lasting relationships. Since 1996, I’ve had the privilege of running and managing small storefront businesses, witnessing firsthand how these enterprises form the backbone of our communities. It’s not about competition; it’s about collaboration, support, and shared success.
From the moment I was a child, I’ve been captivated by the simple joy of making and creating. This passion has shaped every part of my journey, transforming from a personal pursuit into a lifelong craft. It is woven into the fabric of who I am, guiding me with purpose and dedication. Turning this love for creation into a livelihood has been nothing short of a dream come true. Yet, for me, it’s about more than artistry—it’s about using that artistry to inspire, to unite, and to spark meaningful connections.
Through every handmade piece, every workshop, and every community event, we strive to give back, foster relationships, and contribute to a brighter, more sustainable future. Because at the heart of our business is a belief that when we create with intention, we build more than just products—we build community.
My Story
Established in 2014, my company has weathered many changes—through market shifts, the challenges of the pandemic, and the ups and downs of financial uncertainty. But through it all, I’ve never given up. I’ve faced setbacks, yes, but I’ve always found a way to rise again, even if it left its marks along the way.
For over 20 years, I’ve been making, creating, and crafting gifts, throwing parties, and pouring love into every handmade piece I create. In 2014, I decided it was time to share my passion with the world. I love what I do, and I treasure the beauty I bring into people’s lives. My company has evolved over the years—today’s version is different than what it was five or ten years ago—but one thing has never changed: I’ve never stopped creating. I’ve never lost faith in my mission, my work, or the incredible people who believe in me and support what I do.
I’m a mom of seven amazing children, from young children to wonderful adults, and I’m married to a loving and incredibly supportive husband. Our family is vibrant, creative, and deeply connected. We thrive on adventure—spending our days exploring nature, engaging with vibrant cultures, attending festivals, seeking out live performances, and traveling whenever we get the chance. When we’re not immersed in creativity or work, you can find us curled up with a good book or surrounded by the beauty of our garden—my other passion. Plants are my grounding force, reminding me of life’s cycles, growth, and renewal.
Just like so many others in our community, I work hard—every dollar I’ve earned has been through dedication, persistence, and grit. I’m not someone who was handed opportunities on a silver platter—I know what it means to put in the effort and earn my place. My family is my heart, and that’s my first priority. But alongside my family, my husband and I run three businesses together. His primary focus is Prime Realty, where he helps buyers and sellers navigate the real estate market, specializing in strategic investment properties. I, too, have my own side venture—FLIP, LLC—where I take on home remodeling and flipping projects.
But Allium + Thistle? This is my true passion project. It’s where my heart lies, where I get to create, connect, and give back to the community that has given so much to me.
I’m deeply involved in our local community—serving on the board of the Duvall Chamber of Commerce, actively participating in local non-profits, and working alongside incredible people who share the same values. Giving back is a big part of who I am. I believe in lifting others up, supporting our neighbors, and making the world a better place—one handmade gift, one thoughtful event, one connection at a time.
